The Knitting Club meets twice this month on Mondays August 6 and August 20 at 7 p.m. Bring a project you are working on or get instruction on a knitting or crocheting project you would like to start.
The Baseball Club is not meeting this month.
The Thursday Morning Book Club will not be meeting this month.
Books by the Pool will meet on Wednesday, August 22 at 2:00 p.m. and August 27 at 7:00 p.m.
The book group will meet at the pool’s picnic area to discuss Moon Shot by Alan Shepard and Deke Slayton. Rain location: the library. Copies of “Moon Shot” may be checked out at the library’s circulation desk. In addition, the ebook version of “Moon Shot” is available for download from HooplaDigital.com (New Providence library card required). You will need to be a member of the pool to attend the discussions (unless it is raining and it meets at the library instead). If you do not belong to the pool, the library has three other book groups that welcome everyone.

Story Times
Bigger kids (ages 4-6) have a special story time on Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m.
Toddler story time is Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.
Baby lapsit is Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. and a baby play group at 11:30 a.m.
Every Thursday there’s a drop-in craft at 2:00 p.m.
Thursday afternoon story time will be at 1:30 p.m. on August 2 and 16.
Thursday evening pajama story time for all ages will be at 6:00 p.m. on August 9 and August 23.
