The Downtown Concert Series at the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts

Looking for live music this summer? The Museum of Early Trades & Crafts (METC) will be presenting The Downtown Concert Series: six free family-friendly concerts on Friday evenings. The concerts will be held on the lawn of the Museum where picnicking is encouraged!
On July 13, 2018 Zaire Band will be playing. Zaire features the best of classic rock with strong harmonies as a 3-piece acoustic trio, covering artists such as The Eagles, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Tom Petty, Radiohead and more.
On July 27, 2018 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. the Barba Roja Latin Band will be performing. This South River, New Jersey band with Venezuelan roots has been performing for over twenty years playing a mix of Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Bachata, Rock en Espanol, Latin Pop, and Latin Jazz. Dancing shoes are a must for this exciting concert!
Future shows will also include Mama D & the Vexations on August 20, 2018 Jumping the Gun on August 24, 2018and Rosewood on September 7, 2018.
Crafts are available for children and guests are encouraged to tour METC’s current exhibit, Are We There Yet? Stories of Travel by Stagecoach and Steam, which examines personal accounts of the rigors of travel in 19th century New Jersey. Bring the family and plan to spend time Friday evening in downtown Madison exploring the town’s many unique shops and restaurants. The Downtown Concert Series is sponsored by the Downtown Development Commission.
