The Frank K. Hehnly Student Council challenged each class to a “Random Acts of Kindness” competition. The students were excited to participate in the challenge, and kindness spread quickly throughout the school. Some acts of kindness included saying “Hi” to someone new, picking up litter and putting it in a trash can, and telling someone why they are a good friend. While all the classes had an overwhelming response, Mrs. Camillo’s fourth grade class came in first place with 152 beautiful acts of kindness. Mrs. Hayes, one of the Student Council advisors, was very pleased with the competition. She stated, “Mrs. DeVita and I were so proud of everyone who participated in the Student Council challenge. Keep up the acts of kindness!”
