The Mountainside Senior Citizen Club celebrated Valentine’s Day at the Spanish Tavern, 1239 U.S. 22, Mountainside. There were over 50 attendees including Mayor Paul N. Mirabelli; senior coordinator Kim Moriak; and Eve Vitale, president of The Mountainside Senior Club for the past 12 years.
In addition to a full course lunch meal, Lou Sabini of Sabini Entertainment provided the entertainment. He sang beautiful love songs, including, “As Time Goes By,” “After the Loving,” “More,” “What a Wonderful World,” and “You are the Sunshine of My Life.”
There were also door prizes and raffles. Everyone went home with a Valentine’s heart shaped box filled with chocolates.
