Agents of Change: Famous Women in New Jersey History

In honor of Women’s History Month, The Friends of the Cranford Public Library are pleased to sponsor a lecture on New Jersey’s most influential women. Lecturer and photographer Jim DelGiudice will present “Agents of Change: Famous Women in New Jersey History” on Monday, March 19, 2017 at 7 p.m. in the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Avenue, Cranford. Attendees will learn about philanthropists, performers, politicians and more, as well as the social context of their lives.
Jim DelGiudice has studied and documented New Jersey’s history for more than 25 years. A three-time winner of a share of New Jersey’s Historic Preservation Award, DelGiudice has provided lectures at Drew University, Columbia University, and the County College of Morris. Rutgers University Press has published several of his architectural photograph books. His Judgson Lecture Series focuses on topics of New Jersey history, photography, and general interest.
