Due to the generosity of the UC Community Development Block Grant, and the Mayor and Council of Kenilworth, the Department of Senior Service offers many free senior activities to keep our seniors 62 years or older active and healthy. In addition, for seniors who work, or are responsible for babysitting their grandchildren, we have started a program in the evening.
The following are free daily programs offered to Kenilworth seniors upstairs in the Senior Center located at 526 Boulevard, Kenilworth, New Jersey.
Monday: Exercise Class, 1 p.m.
Wednesday: Healthy Bones, 9:30 a.m.
Thursday: Beginner Country Line Dancing, 7 p.m. starting up again on March 8, 2018.
Friday: Zumba Gold, 1:30 p.m.
In addition, craft and ceramic classes at 10 a.m. are held on once a month on Monday (Call Center for dates).
Bowling at Garwood Lanes 346 North Avenue, Garwood, 1 p.m. every Tuesday.
Except for bowling all programs are held at the Senior Center.
For further information, please call Paulette Drogon, Senior Program Director at 908-276-6461.
