Kenilworth Library March 2018 Programs

The Spring Reading Program at the Kenilworth Public Library begins Monday, March 26 and concludes on Friday, May 11. Children who were registered for the Winter 2017 Reading Club will be preregistered for the spring session.
Registration is required for the following programs:

“Mommy, Daddy & Me,”
a parent and child at-home reading program for children ages 2 to 5.

“I Can Read,”
a reading program for children who are just starting to read on their own from ages 6 to 8.

“Club Readsalot,”
a reading program for children ages 9 to 12.

“Lap Sit”
for ages 0 to 23 months will be held on the following
Tuesdays from 10:30 to 10:50 a.m.: March 27, April 3, 10, 17 and 24, and May 1 and 8.

“Toddler Time”
for 2-year-olds will be held on the following
Wednesdays from 10:30 to 10:50 a.m.: March 28, April 4, 11, 18 and 25, and May 2 and 9.
Stories, puppets, and music just right for young listeners will be introduced.

“PJ Story Time”
for children ages 3 and up will be held on the following
Thursdays from 6:30 to 7 p.m.: March 29, April 5, 12, 19 and 26, and May 3 and 10.
Children are invited to wear their pajamas to this program, and bring along a stuffed animal, too.

STEAM
at The Library for ages 6- to 12-years-old will be held on the following
Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.: March 28, April 4, 11, 18 and 25, and May 2 and 9.
Children can register for programs focusing on science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math. Registration is required for each individual program. Kenilworth residents may register one week prior to each program. Out of town residents may register two days prior to each program, space permitting. These programs have been funded by the Ralph Errington Foundation.

“Create A Story Quilt with Gabrielle Kanter”
will be presented on March 28. Children will design and decorate quilting squares which will be assembled to create a permanent story quilt for the library.
