Artists will be “painting the town” on Saturday, September 16 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the Annual Community Paint Out. The event brings area artists of all ages to Cranford to celebrate the unique and the beautiful about the town. The finished pieces will be on display and available for purchase at Hanson Park from 4:00 to 5:00p.m. that afternoon. This is the third year the Paint Out has been sponsored by The Artist Framer in Cranford.
Artists of all ages and abilities are invited to join the fun and can register online at www.theartistframer.com. For young artists (age 16 and under) registration is free, and for Community Artists (17 and over) registration is $10 up to the date of the event, or $15 starting at 11:00 at the Artist Framer, 17 North Avenue East, on the day of the Paint Out. The first 50 community artists to register online will get a special Paint Out Survival Bag. Pieces by the Community
Artists will be judged and prizes will be awarded at Hanson Park.So artists, bring your easels, brushes, paints, pencils and pens, and join your fellow artists around town. The Cranford Historic Preservation Advisory Board will provide a list of sites to explore and portray. And community members, come to Hanson Park to admire the depictions of picturesque Cranford.
