To many Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start to summer, but at David Brearley Middle High School it is the opportunity to honor all the brave men and women who protect our nation. To bring the historical significance to life, Mrs. Diane Westbrook had Mr. Paul Campanelli join her 7th grade World History class to speak to the importance of Memorial Day as a way to honor our country’s fallen heroes.
Mr. Campanelli is a graduate of David Brearley High School and serves his community as a member of the Kenilworth Police Department. Please take a moment to think about our brave military and their families, not only on Memorial Day but everyday throughout the year.
