An exhibit on the Westfield Fire Department will be on view thru May 30th at the Westfield Historical Society located at 314 Mountain Avenue in Westfield.
The Society is celebrating Westfield’s 300th Anniversary early before 2020 by previewing a very important segment of the history of Westfield. Westfield’s Hook and Ladder Co., the Bucket and Engine Co. and the Empire Engine Co. came together in 1883. In 1903, it became Westfield Fire Department.
