The Union County Commission of the Status of Women honored Mrs. Amy Herber at its recent 25th Annual Women of Excellence Awards & Celebration.
She was recognized for Lifetime Achievement/Education. Herber is currently the Student Assistance Counselor at Summit High School, and prior to that held the position of School Counselor. In both roles, her focus and passion is to provide support for the students of Summit. In addition to working directly with SHS students, Herber is proud of the programs she plans for teens, parents, and community members, including the Parent Wellness Series, Challenge Day, OM3D and a variety of guest speakers. She is truly a Woman of Excellence, and Summit Public Schools is fortunate to have her as part of their team!
