The Kenilworth Public Library will offer children and their families an opportunity to listen to the story, According To Chacho Pet Shop Blues read by author Eric Estevez on Thursday, May 11 at 6:30 – 7:00pm.
About the Book: America’s newest and lovable miniature poodle. Chacho is waiting for his new family to adopt him from the Miami Pet Shop. As the day grows older, Chacho wonders if he will finally meet them or will have to wait for another day. Follow Chacho as you get a peek into his thoughts, fears, and desires. You will instantly fall in love with this new modern-day children’s book pet.
About the Author: Eric Estevez and Karen Alvarado, a couple of 15 years, wanted to share the story of their ten year old miniature poodle, Chacho. Chacho has seen the family grow, and has played an important role in their lives.
This program will take place during the regularly scheduled PJ Story Time for children ages 3 and up.
Registration is required. Kenilworth residents may begin to register for this program on Thursday, May 4. Out of town residents may begin to register on Tuesday, May 9. To register call the library at 908-276-2451 or visit 548 Boulevard.
