Second graders at Bayberry School have been studying the levels of government and how laws are created. They have had several local and state level officials visit the students to talk about their roles in the government. On March 1, 2017 Assemblywoman Nancy F. Munoz visited the second grade classes. She spent time explaining the process of creating a bill and having it passed as a law. Students listened attentively as Assemblywoman Munoz used examples they could relate to such as wearing their helmets while riding their bike or scooter. The second graders thoroughly enjoyed her visit and learned a lot about New Jersey’s government.
