Lincoln Center Local Screening: Mariachi Flor De Toloache
Friday, May 5, 12:30pm.  Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with traditional Mexican music. Mariachi is an important part of Mexican folk culture, known for its vivid vocals, driving string rhythms and soaring trumpet melodies. Mariachi Flor De Toloache is NYC’s first all-female mariachi group, celebrating the traditions of this folk form from around the world while creating a style all their own. This screening of a performance at Lincoln Center was recorded in 2016.
