Kenilworth Public Library April Events

The Spring Reading Program at the Kenilworth Public Library is on-going and concludes on Friday, May 12th. Children who were registered for the Winter 2017 reading club we be preregistered for the Spring session.
Registration is required for the following programs:

Mommy, Daddy & Me
a parent and child at-home reading program for children ages 2 to 5.
I Can Read
a reading program for children who are just starting to read on their own from ages 6 to 8.
Club Readsalot
a reading program for children ages 9 to 12.
Lap Sit
for ages 0 to 23 months will be held on the following Tuesdays from 10:30 to 10:50 am:  April 11, 18 & 25 and May 2 & 9.
Movies At The Library
for ages 4 and up will be held on the following Tuesdays from 3:30 – 4:30pm: April 11, 18 & 25 and May 2 & 9.
Toddler Time
for 2 year olds will be held on the following Wednesdays from 10:30 to 10:50 am: April 12, 19 & 26 and May 3 & 10. Stories, puppets and music just right for young listeners will be introduced.
Technology At The Library
for ages 9 to 17 years old will be held on the following Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 pm: April 12, 19 & 26 and May 3 & 10.
Explore technology and Maker Culture including 3-D printing, Arduino projects and more!
PJ Story Time
for children ages 3 and up will be held on the following Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:00 pm: April 13, 20 & 27 and May 4 & 11 .Children are invited to wear their pajamas to this program, and bring along a stuffed animal, too.
Lego At The Library
for 4 – 12 year olds will be held on the following Fridays from 3:30 to 4:30 pm: April 21 and May 5.
Lego at the Library is made possible by donations from the Walmart Local Giving Program and Jackie Fidurski.
Bingo for Young Children
will be held on the following Fridays from 3:30 to 4:00pm for children ages 3 and up:  May 12. Games may include A-B-C Bingo, Number Bingo and Color & Shape Bingo. Parents must remain in the library during the program.
Bingo for Children Who Can Read
will be held on the following Friday from 3:30 to 4:00pm in the Activity Room: April 28. Games may include Book Bingo, USA Bingo, History Bingo and Kenilworth Bingo. Parents do not participate in this program.
Learning about Alpacas
will be presented at The Kenilworth Public Library on Thursday, April 27 at 6:30pm.
This 45 minute program will be presented by Colin and Joy Scott, owners of Highland Airs Alpaca Ranch.
Children ages 4 and up,  and adults will have an opportunity to meet an alpaca from the ranch, and  learn about these beautiful animals. Registration is required.
Kenilworth residents may begin to register on Thursday, April 20. Out of town residents may begin to register on Tuesday., April 25th, space permitting
Bubble Trouble At The Library
will be held on Thursday, May 4 at 6:30 – 7:15pm
Jeff Boyer will amaze and entertain children ages 4 & up and their families with this incredible bubble show.  Registration is required. This program has been funded by a Wells Fargo Grant, and The Friends of the Kenilworth Public Library.  Registration begins on Thursday, April 27th for Kenilworth residents. Registration begins on Tuesday, May 2nd  for out of town residents.
