Union Public Library January Programs

The Union Public Library has exciting events planned for adults, tweens, teens and children during the month of January 2017 at both the Main Library (MN) and Vauxhall Branch (VH).
The library now offers New Jersey Career Connections to provide job-search and career navigation assistance to community members. Among other functions, New Jersey Career Connections can help you apply for funding assistance, prepare a personal budget, research and attend skills training, sharpen existing skills, build and enhance your resume, and learn interview and job-search skills. You can access the New Jersey Career Connections website (careerconnections.nj.gov) on the public computers in our library. In addition, the library now offers an onsite mobile computer lab where jobseekers are able to use laptop computers to create or update a resume, complete job applications, or connect with the New Jersey Career Connections website. Check in with a librarian to learn more about this initiative and computer lab hours.
