On the weekend of October 14th, nine scouts from troop 235 in North Plainfield attended a multi-district camporee at the Round Valley Youth Center. There were 28 Troops who participated in skill games during the morning and were tasked with creating the world’s longest monkey bridge in the afternoon. Troop 235 was successful in building their bridge (30 feet long and 4 feet high) and invited other troops at the event to try it out. If you or someone you know is interested in joining the Scouting program please contact Bob Holzer 908-791-1052.
