Although activities and responsibilities of the Rosary Society of St. Michael Church in Cranford began longer than 75 years ago, it was chartered formally in 1941. The Society was established to foster communication between clergy and laity regarding spiritual and material needs within the parish family and to cooperate with other churches and civic organizations in serving the community at large. Seventy-five plus years later, the Society currently has a membership of over 150 women, which includes daughters and granddaughters of those who have moved on, and will hopefully be carried forward by their successors. Needs do change, but there is no doubt about the past and present contribution of St. Michael Rosary Society to all facets of community life. Congratulations, Rosarians!
