The Woman’s Club of Westfield Welcomes New Members

Grace Ann Meyn first met members of the Woman’s Club of Westfield at an indoor garage sale, this past spring, held to raise money for local charities. She told us that she had read about the club in local newspaper articles highlighting the club’s activities including community service projects such as: Family Promise, The Paul Jackson Fund, Stockings for the Military, Creative Writing Contest and Scholarship Programs. All members work in in a spirit of friendship and harmony. Grace Anne was very interested in coming to our next general meeting where we bestowed twelve $5,000 scholarships to Westfield High School Senior students. She was enthusiastic about what she learned about our club and expressed a desire to join.
At our last meeting before summer break, Grace Ann was installed into our club as a new member and has quickly become a significant part of our group, joining enthusiastically into many varied activities while making many new friends with common interests.
Any local woman is warmly welcomed to attend a general monthly meeting of WCW held at The Masonic Lodge, 1011 Central Avenue, Westfield by writing to The Woman’s Club of Westfield, P.O. 2428, Westfield, NJ 07091 for more information.
