Team Triple Threat F0undation hosted it’s Annual “Back to School/Anti-Bullying” event at Dorothy Ford Park in Linden, NJ. The event went from noon to 8pm for two days over an August weekend, as we supplied dozens of kids in the community with free back packs, school supplies, haircuts (from professional barbers), food, beverages, prizes, music, and more.
It was an awesome event, and everyone had a wonderful time. It was a weekend of fellowship and celebration, as we showed our unwavering support for our kids as they embark on a new academic year. We just want them to realize that we care and that they have unlimited support. With all of the great components that the event offered, one I am most proud of is the Anti- Bullying segment.
Our kids had a mini-forum where they got a chance to speak to a news personality (Ms. Miranda Leah of Fox 1 News) and her camera man about the importance of speaking up against bullying. Our kids talked about sticking up for one another and blowing the whistle on bullies. It was awesome!
The kids also participated in a youth basketball tournament where they competed against teams from other towns. The kids, parents and spectators really enjoyed themselves, as they watched many of the state’s top student-athletes compete.

(above) Two of the basketball teams that attended the event. The MSU Skyliners (Plainfield, NJ), and The Runnin' Rebels (Newark, NJ). Two awesome programs and they were both class acts, as we were happy to have them.
