The spring annual beach sweep on New Jersey’s coast took place on Saturday April 30th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Volunteers from all over the state came out to show their support in keeping New Jersey’s beaches some of the finest in our country.
This year marks the 31st Annual Beach Sweep and hundreds of volunteers came out. Green Brook’s Girl Scout Troop 65023 also participated in this worthy cause. Volunteers chose from several counties and beach sites in Atlantic, Cape May, Essex, Middlesex, Monmouth, and Ocean counties.
