WESTFIELD MEMORIAL CREATIVITY WORKSHOP

On Wednesdays June 15th at 7:00 pm, the Westfield Memorial Library will present a workshops entitled, “It’s about Time.” The library is located at 550 East Broad Street, Westfield. The presenter is Westfield resident and poet Wendy Rosenberg. In the workshop, “It’s about Time,” participants will have a chance to create a new relationship with time, one that nourishes and enhances, rather than frustrates or worries. “If you ever find yourself saying, ‘There’s never enough time,’ or ‘I can’t find the time,’ then it’s time to change your thoughts about time,” said Ms. Rosenberg. “In this workshop, we will use creativity to explore our personal relationship with time and will delve into our quantitative and qualitative experiences with time.”
Ms. Rosenberg is a teacher with 21 years of experience as a poet. She became a Certified Applied Poetry Facilitator (CAPT) through the National Federation of Biblio/Poetry Therapy, and is a member of the National Association for Poetry Therapy (NAPT). She attended the Expressive Arts Institute at Salve-Regina University where she received training as an Expressive Art Education Facilitator. The program is free and is limited to 15 people so participants must register.
