Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School senior Nancy Canevari has been notified that her short story The View From Paris has earned national recognition in the 2016 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Program. Panels of creative professionals have identified Nancy as being among the most talented young writers in the nation. The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Program is the longest running, most prestigious competition and largest source of scholarships for teenagers in the United States.
