High School Celebrates Earth Day

To celebrate Earth Day, members from the Linden High School National Honor Society visited School #5 to present the program “Trees Into Cartons ,Cartons Into Trees” to the Second Grade Students. They learned all about Earth Day, the importance of trees and recycling. They then assisted the students with planting tree saplings in recycled milk cartons filled with soil and some water. Each 2nd grader was then able to take their tree home to plant.
