The Gateway Family YMCA – Rahway Branch Artist Loft tenant, Linda Rosen recently won the “Art Outside the Box” contest in Union County. She received accolades from the mayor of Rahway and local freeholders, as well as a monetary prize. The “Art Outside the Box” project allowed local artists to display their work and increase visibility for the Arts in Union County by decorating local traffic control boxes. Linda’s artwork, titled “Corner of Mapes & Bergen” is visible in downtown Rahway on the corner of Milton Avenue and Lawrence Avenue.
Linda Rosen, a Cranford resident was one of the first tenants to secure an Artist Loft work space at the Rahway Branch following the recent YMCA renovations.
