Hehnly Fourth Graders Bring History Alive

Students in Mrs. Tamburino’s fourth grade class recently brought history alive. The students each chose a famous person, researched the person’s life, and wrote a summary about the person. Finally, the students dressed up as the famous person and presented an oral report, highlighting that person’s life.
“This lesson was a great opportunity for students to immerse themselves in history as figures who left their marks on the world,” explained Mrs. Tamburino. “Not only did students utilize their research and writing skills, but they incorporated their speaking and listening skills through their presentations.”
