Watchung Borough teachers Kaitlin Basile, Kristina Franko, and Chris Mehl (pictured left to right) take part in an ongoing professional development program “Students Taking Charge”. This program has been in place since September 2013, and is part of the LATIC series (Learner Active Technology Infused Classroom). Over twenty teachers have participated in one of four cohorts. The district administration and the Board of Education in Watchung believe strongly in ongoing professional development for its teachers.
