Blakesberg Photographic Presentation Lens Itself To Quite A Show…
1979 Alum Jay Blakesberg’s return to Clark was eventful so to speak. He spoke to 350 students at ALJ, his alma mater on Monday, November 9th, then he appeared at Barnes & Noble that same night to a group of approximately 65 people. At both he gave a slideshow lecture about his 35-year journey in rock and roll photography documenting from the Grateful Dead to his latest book, Hippie Chick: A Tale of Love, Devotion and Surrender, a coffee table book for which he shot all the photography.
To date, Jay has published a total of ten photographic volumes of pop culture with Hippie Chick as the most recent. He also plans to release a Fare Thee Well coffee table book on December 1st with a forward by ultimate Deadhead Bill Walton. For more information, please visit JayBlakesberg.com
