NPF Police Conducts Annual Boro Taxicab Safety Inspections

Chief William Parenti announced that the North Plainfield Police Department Traffic Safety Division conducted its annual Safety Inspection of the Boro taxicabs in conjunction with the New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles Mobile Inspection Unit. In an effort to continue to keep the residents and people who pass through town safe, the Traffic Safety Unit conducts an inspection annually and follows up with any and all repairs that need to be completed.
