After months of interviewing local veterans and current servicemen and women, the students of Miss Sinicropi, Mr. Lowe, and Miss Williamson’s classes of Frank K. Hehnly and Valley Road schools in Clark have used the created biographies to assemble a publication honoring the nearly 30 local honorees interviewed. The students involved presented their work to Clark’s mayor and local councilmen and women at the and were proud to do so. From start to finish, the project was an engaging, interactive and hands on learning experience which also provided students a deeper understanding of what it means to serve. The book is available at the Clark Public Library.
