‘A Little Taste of Kenilworth’ – Nov. 2

A Little Taste of Kenilworth 2024

“A Little Taste of Kenilworth” will be presented by the Kenilworth Historical Society on Sat., November 2, at 1 p.m., in celebration of Kenilworth’s reputation as a favorite place for dining. The event, to be held at the Kenilworth Veterans Center (33 S. 21st Street), will offer attendees “a taste” of the culinary specialties from more than a dozen popular participating establishments. There will be entertainment as well as a 50/50 raffle and a gift auction.

Admission is $30. Advance reservations (by October 19) are requested, as seating is limited. For information/reservations, please call 908-709-0434 or visit Love You More floral boutique (13 N. 20th Street), where tickets are being sold. 

Proceeds from the November 2 tasting will benefit the Oswald J. Nitschke House “living history” museum and cultural arts center by helping defray operating and building expenses, including the cost of an elevator that makes the site fully accessible. 

Restaurants/other culinary businesses whose specialties will be featured during “A Little Taste of Kenilworth” include Angelo’s Steakhouse, Bella Palermo Pastry Shop, Caetanos Cucina, Chat & Griddle, Fruit Republique, Greco Roma Pizza & Grill, The Kenilworth Diner, La Campagnola Fine Italian Restaurant, La Griglia Seafood Grill & Wine Bar, Michigan Deli, Opa Grill, Pizza Stop, Star of India Restaurant,
Sub Where Else and others. Any local restaurant/culinary business owner who is interested in participating in “A Little Taste of Kenilworth” but who has not yet committed to doing so is encouraged to call the Kenilworth Historical Society at 908-709-0434.

The Kenilworth Historical Society (www.kenilworthhistoricalsociety.org) is an independent, volunteer-based, non-profit, tax-exempt, 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to the research, preservation and interpretation of the Oswald J. Nitschke House (c. 1880), local history and culture.
