Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad Scholarships

The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad (CVES) attended the Senior Awards ceremony held at Arthur L. Johnson High School. This year, CVES presented 2 scholarships.
Taylor Normann received the Josephine and Jack Quinn Scholarship. Jack was a long-time member of the Emergency Squad who was also a training officer. His wife, Josephine, was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad. The Auxiliary was a group of people who arranged various activities to support the squad.
Sophia Downing received the Harry Jarvais Scholarship. Harry was also a long-time member who tragically died of a heart attack as he was coming to the building during a snowstorm to answer a call.
The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad is proud to serve the Clark community since 1941.
