AUTISM ACCEPTANCE MONTH

In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, students and staff at Mountain Park School came together to celebrate, honor, and learn about Autism and people with neurodiversity.
During an educational and fun Spirit Week, students learned about autism and neurodiversity and were invited to dress up in accordance with a daily theme such as ‘Better Together Blue’ and wear blue shirts to show the inclusive and supportive nature of Mountain Parkers and were invited to bring in $1.00 to donate to Autism, NJ. Nearly $125 was raised and donated to Autism NJ on behalf of Mountain Park School.
