Esther Hong Takes First Place in Art Competition
The winners of Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill’s sixth annual Congressional Art Competition for high school students in New Jersey’s 11th District were announced at a reception at Montclair State University held in May.
Esther Hong, a Millburn High School student, took First Place for her paining “Protesting for Eggs & Tomatoes.” Esther’s piece will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for the coming year alongside the winning pieces from every congressional district in the country.
