Our first Florham Park Senior Citizens Club Car Show and Festival Day was held on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024, and was a very successful fundraiser event. The event was held at the parking lot at the Florham Park Community Center also known as the Recreation Center, (large brown building parking lot), located in the Borough of Florham Park Town Complex. Food was provided by Livia Assisted Living Services.
Car Show prizes were donated by our sponsor the Florham Park Liquors Store, located at 184 Columbia Turnpike, Florham Park, under the new ownership of the Patel Family.
Car Show Winners
First Place Winner: Dick Bettle, 1930 Model A, Ford. Prize: Large Basket of Wine.
Second Place Winner: Tommy & Adriana Orlando, 1950 Ford Custom. Prize: Medium Basket of Wine.
Third Place Winner: Steven Rice, 1974 Porsche 914-1.8. Prize Small Basket of Wine
SENIOR CITIZENS LUNCHEON – June 12th
For many years the Seniors Club has held an annual traditional Spring Luncheon to provide a last opportunity to socialize with friends prior to the senior club summer break.
The Florham Park Senior Citizen’s Spring Luncheon will be at the Hanover Manor, On Wednesday June 12th, 2024, starting at 11:30 a.m. With a Cocktail hour and a wide variety of delicious appetizers. The luncheon entrée is served with a fabulous entrée choice of the following: Roast Top Sirloin, Salmon Filet, Chicken Franchise, or Eggplant Parmigiana. While enjoying our lunch we will have entertainment by singer Laurie Vega and her Jazz Band.
The cost for senior club members is $40.00 and for senior non-members or guest is $50. The deadline for reservations and full payment is Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 make sure to select your entrée choice and any seating request.
