Watchung Community Picnic 2024
On Saturday, May 18, 2024, the borough of Watchung gathered at Mobus Field for the much-anticipated Annual Community Picnic hosted by Watchung Recreation. The event, which has become a beloved tradition, once again brought residents together for a day filled with laughter, delicious food, and a plethora of activities for all ages.
The festivities kicked off at noon, with families and friends spreading out across the benches and playground. Local vendors and volunteers lined the park and offered free hot dogs and refreshments to those in attendance. Other activities included a dance party, inflatables, face painting, arts & crafts and more exciting family fun.
The Watchung Recreation’s Annual Community Picnic at Mobus Field was more than just a day out; it was a celebration of community, friendship, and the simple joys of life.
