Note the following library schedule changes and closures:
We will be open from 2pm to 5pm on Wednesday, May 3 for staff training.
We will be closed on Sundays from May until Labor Day.
We are closed for Memorial Day Weekend on Saturday, May 25, Sunday, May 26 and Monday, May 27.
Chess Club on Thursdays, May 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 at 11am – 3pm

Thursday Afternoon Movies on Thursdays, May 2, 16, 23 & 30 at 1pm

Paint a Flower, Plant a Flower on Thursday, May 2 at 6:30pm
Ages 4-12 are invited to join us to paint a pot and plant a flower in it!
Registration is required and priority registration will be given to Clark residents.
All others will be on the pending waitlist until 48 hours before the event, if space remains. Remember to wear old clothes!
Tales for Tots, Mondays, May 6, 13 & 20 at 9:45am OR at 10:30am
Stories and songs for active listeners.Geared toward ages 2-3 with a caregiver.
Older children are welcome! 30 minutes of open play follows. Please register.
Teen Advisory Board on Monday, May 6 at 3:15pm
Teens – let your voice be heard at the library! The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) helps create, plan, and run teen programs and services they would like offered at the Clark Public Library. TAB participants work directly with the librarians to develop ideas and bring them to life. TAB is open to all teens in Grades 6-12. Teens in neighboring towns are always welcome to join. Registration is required.
Baby Bookworms,Tuesdays, May 7, 14, 21 & 28 at 10am
Join us for stories, songs, nursery rhymes, and movement activities. Geared toward the under 2 crowd with caregiver. 30 minutes of open play follows.
Patches and Stitches on Tuesdays, May 7, 14, 21 & 28 from 12pm – 2pm
Bring your quilt or other crafty project and visit with the members of the quilting club.
Digital Literacy Tutoring on Tuesday, May 7, 14, 21, 28 at 6:30pm
Do you need help with your digital literacy skills? Join us for tutoring sessions on topics including Google Drive, Microsoft, Email, and resume help. Registration is required as sessions are limited to 4 students at a time.

The Roaring ‘20s with Alisa Dupuy on Thursday, May 9 at 7pm
Actress Alisa Dupuy returns to the Clark Library. Join us as “Alice Dupree”, friend of Gatsby, tells us all about the Roaring ’20s.
Stories & More, Fridays, May 10, 17, 24 & 31 at 10am
Stories, movement, and songs followed by a simple craft for active listeners ages 3 – 5 years old. Registration is required.
Mother’s Day Flower Sale on Saturday, May 11 from 10am-3pm

Gold/Silver Buyback on Saturday, May 11 from 10am-3pm

We are looking for the following items : Unwanted gold, silver & platinum jewelry, gold & silver coins, sterling silver flatware, 14kt or 18kt gold timepiece and old paper money.
Barks & Books on Tuesday, May 14 between 4-5pm
If you have a young, reluctant or struggling reader, we want you to meet our therapy dogs! They are non-judgmental listeners and furry friends to read to that won’t laugh if your child makes a mistake or stumbles over a word. Registration is required. Children will each get approximately 15 minutes of reading time with Bubble & Magnolia.

Tinker Tots on Thursday, May 16 at 10:30am
Come join us for a morning of fun STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) activities perfect for little ones. Play is station based. For children ages 1 through pre-k. Please register.
LEGO Master Builders on Thursday, May 16 at 6:30pm
Create your own LEGO® structures to be displayed in the Children’s area of the library! LEGO® are provided by the library. For children entering grades K – 5. Light snacks will be served.
Digital Literacy Tutoring on Friday, May 17, & 31 at 11:30am

Needlework Club on Saturday, May 18 at 10am-2pm
Are you interested in sharing your needlework craft or learning a new one? Needlework includes counted cross stitch, needlepoint, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, quilting, etc. Come when you can and stay as long as you like. Bring what you are working on to sit, stitch, and chat with others who enjoy needlework! The club will meet one Saturday per month. If you have any questions, please drop by the meeting and someone will assist you.
Little Scientist on Thursday, May 23 at 3:30pm
Learn how to build and create with our Science Experiments! Each session will be a different experiment that will touch upon a different STEM skill.
Books & Bagels on Friday, May 31 at 11am
Enjoy bagels and coffee while we chat about books you have been reading and learn what others in your community are reading as well.
