Police Compete in Hip Hop Dance Battle

The third-annual Police Dance Battle between Scotch Plains and Fanwood was a huge success! This year was a tie breaker because Sgt. Baltazar (Scotch Plains) won the first battle (2021) and Officer Hudspith (Fanwood) won the second battle (2022). The winner this year? Fanwood.
The Hip Hop Experience Dance Class, created by María Daniel of iDance Ministry, implements social emotional learning and diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. This annual event brings the community together through Hip Hop dance taught through the lenses of context, culture, and community connections.
