“Summit’s Best Slice” Mini-Fundraiser – October 22nd

“Summit’s Best Slice” Mini-Fundraiser

The Summit Free Public Library Foundation is pleased to announce its upcoming mini-fundraiser, “Summit’s Best Slice.” “Summit’s Best Slice” will showcase the culinary talents of four prominent pizza establishments in Summit: Doria’s Pizza & Restaurant, SQR Artisan Pizza, Village Trattoria, and Zappia’s Brick Oven Pizza.

These local favorites will provide sample-size slices of both classic plain and specialty pizzas at the Summit Free Public Library on Sunday, October 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Attendees have the opportunity to taste each of these eight slices, then vote for their favorite classic and specialty pizzas.

Tickets for “Summit’s Best Slice” are available for purchase, priced at $10 per person. You can purchase tickets at the Library’s Circulation Desk using cash or check.

Proceeds from “Summit’s Best Slice” will benefit the Summit Free Public Library Foundation and will fund technological and facility enhancements at the Library. “We are excited to be hosting this fun event for all ages to help support the excellent services at the Summit Public Library,” said John Arthur, President of the Foundation.

The Foundation’s mission is to make sure the Summit Free Public Library has what it needs to fulfill theirs: to inform, to enrich, and to inspire our diverse community. “The Foundation’s continuous support really helps take our Library from good to great and this fundraiser will help them to continue to do so!” said Amy Behr-Shields, Director of the Library.

For those unable to attend the event but would still like to contribute to the Foundation, donations can be directed to the following address: Summit Free Public Library Foundation, 75 Maple Street, Summit, NJ 07901
