Millburn Launches Hometown Heroes Banners Program

Hometown Heroes Program

Millburn’s American Legion and Sons of American Legion is proud to announce the launch of the Hometown Heroes Banners Program, an initiative aimed at honoring and recognizing the brave men and women who are either military veterans or active military members that live or previously lived within our township.

The Hometown Heroes Banners Program offers various ways for individuals, businesses, and organizations to show their support. Through the purchase of banners and/or donations, community members can contribute to this noble cause. Banners will be displayed on Millburn Avenue and will include the names, photographs, and service details of our local veterans or active military members. Each banner is 24’’ x 48’’and costs $200, which includes hardware and installation. Furthermore, individuals have the option to purchase additional banners to possibly display at home for a cost of $150 per banner (excludes hardware).

American Legion Post 140 and Sons of American Legion Squadron 140, are both located at 200 Main Street, Millburn and are dedicated to actively supporting local veterans and youth within our community. A portion of each Hometown Heroes banner sold and/or donation received, will help their mission.
