The Township of Union Community Garden is located at the Eleanor R. Erickson Park on Liberty Avenue in Union NJ. The Organic Garden has been established for the purpose of giving all Union, NJ residents access to organic vegetable or flower gardening.
The Township of Union Community Garden is a nonprofit membership organization of professionals, volunteers and supporters of community greening in our urban community. The ToUCG recognizes that community gardening improves people’s quality of life by providing a catalyst for neighborhood and community development, stimulating social interaction, encouraging self-reliance, beautifying neighborhoods, producing nutritious food, reducing family food budgets, conserving resources and creating opportunities for recreation, exercise, therapy and education.
