Christkindlmarkt 2022
Holiday shopping is starting up now and the Deutscher Club of Clark, NJ, is having a Christkindlmarkt (Christmas market), just like the ones in Europe! It will be a two-day event held on November 19 and 20 from 11:00-4:00 at the Deutscher Club in Clark, NJ.
This yearly event began over 20 years ago by the Ladies Division of the Deutscher Club and this year we are partnering up with the Club to co-host the two-day event. There will be vendors selling wonderful items in time for your holiday shopping, along with our famous “Gluhwein” (hot mulled wine). One of our members, Don Oberding, who has since passed, suggested adding this to our event, as they offer it in Germany. For many years Don prepared the wine himself. It has been a big hit.
During our Christkindlmarkt, there will be music and lots of food and drink to make it a fine, festive day! Please put our Christkindlmarkt on your calendar to kick off your holiday season! Be on the lookout for some surprise guests too.
The Deutscher Club is one of the largest German Clubs on the East Coast and is conveniently located close to the Garden State Parkway, exit 135, in Clark, NJ.
