The Union County Commission on the Status of Women recently presented the 26th Annual Women of Excellence Awards Dinner at The Westwood in Garwood.
Former Garwood Public Schools music teacher, Marguerite Modero, was one of the 10 women who were honored that evening. She had a 35+ year career in the Garwood Schools and after retirement pursued her passion continuing to advocate for individuals with special needs through Community Access Unlimited. She is a resident of Roselle Park.
