2017 New Providence Street Fair

The annual New Providence Street Fair will be in downtown New Providence on Sunday, October 22, 2017. The fair, presented by the NJ Sharing Network, and sponsored by Lantern Hill, Prestige Diner, and New Providence Business, will be held on Springfield Avenue, between South Street and Livingston Avenue. The hours of the Street Fair are 10am-4pm.  The street will be transformed into a giant town block party.
There is a special section brimming with all kinds of fun stuff to do. There will be mechanical kiddie rides, climbing wall, pony rides, petting zoo, clown, face painting, sand art, temporary tattoos and so much more!
There will be live entertainment all day long featuring bands, dancers, karate demonstrations and more.
This event brings the whole community together. Many of the local merchants and businesses will showcase their shops and offer their special sales. Everyone will surely enjoy the wide selection of delicious foods such as the Empanada Guy, Little Sicilian Rice Balls, House of Cupcakes, Cheezen Truck, Cheech A Cinis-Truck, Twin Concessions, Manny’s Fresh Squeezed Lemonade & Ices, Mamma’s on the Go, Athens Delight, The Nut House, Carnival Concessions, Dani’s Kettle Corn, The Brownie Bar, Coastal Flavors Crab Cakes, Pocono Pizza, Taste of Poland, and local favorite Zita’s Ice Cream.
The event also offers food from local establishments and business community members. Street vendors present many unique items at great prices, and local non-profit organizations host contests and games for all attendees.
This event will also feature many creative crafters with hand crafted works and merchandise dealers offering lots of great bargains and unique items for all.

This year, our great scarecrows will be decorating the downtown during the Street Fair. You can view them and then vote for your favorite. Ballots and ballot boxes will be available at participating downtown businesses.
