Warren Township COVID-19 Time Capsule

The Coronavirus crisis has been an unprecedented moment in our world. Local high school student Aneesh Karuppur has launched The Coronavirus Time Capsule project. This website and its contents are designed to exist in perpetuity for future generations to have a glimpse into what it was like to live through this historic era.

The Coronavirus Time Capsule project can be accessed at warrencovidcapsule.weebly.com.

The time capsule is meant to serve as a repository for images, video, and observations regarding quarantine and lockdown in Warren Township, New Jersey. The initial lockdown order was declared on March 21, 2020 for New Jersey.

On this website, you will find signs, modifications to normal life, and other drastic changes, as captured by digital media around Warren. All postings will eventually give people a look into life during the coronavirus in Warren, from shopping to picking up food to going to school.

Whether it’s appreciation for essential workers, suggestions for staying safe, or revised procedures for shopping or eating, people are invited to submit images and short videos to this website. It is completely free to submit, and submission details can be found under the submit tab at the link: warrencovidcapsule.weebly.com/submit.html.
