It is with great pleasure that we announce the reopening of Loria Music Lesson Center located at 398 W. Grand Ave, Rahway. Offering the same great musical instrument lessons, sales, and services, as well as the addition of a new dance studio.
Loria Music was founded by Joe Loria Sr. in 1977 in a small store in Clark. Through the years as the business expanded it was moved to St George Avenue, and then to its current location, 398 W. Grand Ave, Rahway, where it remains today. In 2001 Joe Sr. decided to retire and sold Loria Music. Joe Sr. later passed away in 2009 after a battle with cancer. Loria Music was later closed in 2016.
After much thought, Joe Loria Jr. decided to take on the challenge of completely renovating the store and rebuilding the business, but changing the main focus and direction from a retail music store to a music and dance lesson studio. Loria will still be offering musical instrument repairs and rentals, as well as offering accessories and beginner instruments for purchase.
After Joe Loria Jr. completely renovated the entire store by himself, Loria Music Lesson Center officially opened for business in May 2017. They have 9 newly renovated state of the art sound rooms where students can learn their instrument of choice in an inviting and professional environment. Loria has also decided to incorporate a stage area in the location for in-house music recitals, clinics, and group classes on stage.
