Lifeguards Wanted at Summit Family Aquatic Center

The Summit Department of Community Programs (DCP) is now hiring certified lifeguards for the upcoming season at the Summit Family Aquatic Center (SFAC).
Working as a lifeguard at this award-winning facility guarantees many benefits, including great pay and flexible hours to name just a few.
Lifeguarding is a great employment opportunity for young professionals to develop important skills such as communication, teamwork, and time management. SFAC lifeguards are also largely responsible for the safety and well-being of members, whether they are assisting with first-aid needs or teaching young swimmers proper water safety techniques. Lifeguards are constantly helping others and impacting the community in great ways.
SFAC managers work hard to develop summer schedules around lifeguards’ needs, whether they be travel related, or to accommodate busy sports schedules. The flexibility of a lifeguarding position with the SFAC is difficult to find amongst other facilities or in other employment opportunities.
Applicants must be 16+ to apply. Lifeguard and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications are required. Interested applicants who are not currently certified may visit www.redcross.org to view upcoming lifeguard and First Aid/CPR/AED courses online. Become a lifeguard today and work at the City’s “hottest place to cool off.”
