Kiwanis Club Participates in Flags-In Ceremony

Members of the Kiwanis Club of the Chathams and Madison and friends participated in their annual project to put flags on the graves of members of the military services, at Fairmount Cemetery in Chatham, New Jersey. The placement of the flags signifies that these members of the military will never be forgotten for their sacrifices on behalf of the United States of America. The ceremony of placing an American flag on the grave at Arlington National Cemetery on Memorial Day is known as flags-in.
