Clark Public School District Holds Virtual Parent University Session “Anxiety in Children”

The Clark Public School District recently held a virtual Parent University session, “Anxiety in Children,” hosted by Nicole Arpino, School Psychologist. The session explores the different types of anxiety and its impact on children as well as the steps parents can take to help their child. Arpino stated, “I hope the parents find the background information and the coping strategies for dealing with anxiety useful in supporting their children.”

To view the session, visit the district’s website at clarkschools.org under Parent University. Previous sessions can be found on the district’s website as well. They can also be found on the district’s Facebook and Twitter pages. The virtual sessions are part of the district’s Parent University program, which includes community education nights, parent teas, and two larger assembly-type programs.
