Battle of The Books

On Wednesday, May 18th, the 3rd and 4th grade Gifted and Talented students at Roosevelt School in Rahway participated in the District Battle of the Books. The purpose of the Battle is simply to encourage students to read good books and have fun while competing with peers.
Students were given a list of 10 books to read. They competed in teams to correctly answer questions based on the books in a “quiz show” format. Questions begin with the words “In which book…” so that the answer will always be a title and author.
